Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 845

Our Boy Scout troop is located in Richmond, Virginia in the Heart of Virginia Council. For those searching for a troop to join, we invite you to come by one of our meetings and see what we are all about.

We go on about 12 trips each year, including a week-long summer camp and a wide range of other trips which change from year to year. Trips include hiking on the Appalachian Trail, skiing, caving, biking, and camping in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Although our meetings are in Richmond, we travel all across Virginia to find the coolest adventure. And as far as advancement, we usually have about one to two new Eagle Scouts each year.

"Scouting's Journey to Excellence" is the Boy Scouts of America's new performance recognition program designed to encourage and reward success and measure performance. We are proud to be a "Gold" troop, the highest possible level.

Want to come visit our next troop meeting? Send us an email for more information and to let us know you are coming, we look forward to meeting you! We meet weekly on Tuesdays at 7pm at Redeemer Lutheran Church, located at 9400 Redbridge Road.

Congratulations List: Frank Howard II - First Class, Collin Evans - First Class, Quinn Roper - Star, Matt Mulvihill - Eagle Project & Scoutmaster conference - YOU GUYS ROCK!!!
